English Tutor from Kowloon District
As an undergraduate studying law at The University of Hong Kong, I have only finished my high school studies in the last few years. Everything is still fresh in my mind, especially since I was excellent in my academics, as shown by the 42 marks I achieved in IB when I graduated from Canadian International School of Hong Kong. Despite being born and raised in a Cantonese-speaking family, I have been educated into speaking both English and Mandarin like a native as well, which is proven by my achievement of the high score of 114/120 in TOEFL, as well as the Level-1 rating in the National Putonghua Shuiping Ceshi (the official national mandarin proficiency exam). The additional advantage of picking me for any student would be my understanding of both the local and international school systems. Having studied under both local and international schools, I am familiar with the local DSE curricula, the various IB programmes ranging from PYP to MYP to DP, as well as the OSSD exam. Aside from my academic achievements, I have a bright and cheerful personality. Thus, this brings me extra advantages in holding classes with students, for I will not only focus on homework or exams, but I try to engage in discussions with them, aiming to make classes as interactive and enjoyable as possible.
